Air Fryer Halloumi Fries
The fastest way to a plate of hot, golden halloumi fries — no deep-frying, no batter. Because EcoBites halloumi sticks are already cut into fingers, the air fryer does all the work: a crisp, blistered crust and that unmistakable squeak inside. Serve with a lemon wedge or a honey-chilli drizzle.

Method
- 1
Pat the halloumi sticks dry with kitchen paper — dry cheese crisps far better.
- 2
Toss the sticks with the olive oil, cornflour and oregano until lightly coated.
- 3
Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) for 2 minutes.
- 4
Air-fry the halloumi in a single layer for 10–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway, until deep golden and crisp.
- 5
Serve immediately with lemon wedges — halloumi is best eaten hot, while it still squeaks.
Tip · Don't crowd the basket. Cook in two batches if needed so the hot air can circulate and crisp every side.
Keep the grill going.
